Tammy Slaton proudly demonstrated her significant weight loss following bariatric surgery last year.
The 36-year-old has already lost close to 300 pounds, according to the US Sun. She flaunted her slimmer physique to her Instagram followers on Tuesday by posting a picture of it.
The photos show the reality star lounging outside on a beautiful day. Supporters immediately praised Slaton for appearing much smaller, despite the fact that she still need some assistance from oxygen tubes.
Wow, what a significant improvement, Tammy, one person commented. Another person responded, “I think I speak for everyone when I say WE ARE EXTREMELY PROUD OF YOU,” and so on.
Tammy, I must say you disproved a lot of our assumptions. “Well done and keep it up!” exclaimed a third.
A few days prior, Southern Indiana Combat Production, a mixed martial arts group, posted several images on Facebook to offer fans a better understanding of Slaton’s transformation.
For the first time in years, the TLC personality, who once weighed over 700 lbs, was seen standing up in the photos without the use of a wheelchair.
She was accompanied by Amy Slaton, who is also her co-star and sister. The two posed for photos while holding up a championship belt.
After struggling to attain her ideal weight to qualify for bariatric surgery and spending time in a food recovery facility, Tammy underwent a sudden shift.
Tammy eventually surpassed the weight cutoff and was given permission to have the life-saving procedure on the most recent TLC program.
The reality star’s efforts seem to have paid off as of late.
When Tammy was still healing from the surgery, she met Caleb Willingham, who would later become her husband.
After just three weeks of dating, the couple got engaged in October 2022. They exchanged vows in a private ceremony one month later, in front of friends and family.
While accusing Willingham of “controlling” and “stalking” Tammy, fans have since voiced their concerns about his “creepy” behavior.
“1000-Lb. Sisters” airs on TLC every Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET.
